Tom Starke – Recovery, Learning, and Returning

Tom grew up in an army family, moving constantly. He never felt he had a home until he settled in northern New Mexico and Santa Fe, where he’s been for most of the past 42 years. He served the country as a scientist and manager at Los Alamos. He was diagnosed with a serious illness near the end of his career and retired shortly thereafter. Then he began his journey of recovery, learning, and returning. He shares his experience and his gratitude for the many people who befriended him, challenged him, taught him, and loved him.
