Brenda Beck – The Fourth Ceremony

In August 2020, during the height of Covid-19 lockdowns on the Navajo Reservation, Brenda and her filmmaker husband traveled to White Cone, Arizona to help the Yazzie family. Dudley Yazzie, a 100-year-old Navajo medicine man wanted to ensure his ancient creation stories were preserved for future generations. The four-day filming project turned into four years and has been both gratifying and inspiring. Brenda’s story is about appreciating our elders and exploring what is worth saving and sharing in this time of great change. You can meet Dudley Yazzie here: https://vimeo.com/561046152
Brenda has walked in two worlds for over thirty years, as a successful publisher and film producer and as a cultural bridge for indigenous cultures.
