Virginia Gilstrap – Returning to the Camino De Santiago, A River of Spirit

Around 2500 years ago, ancient Celts would walk a pilgrimage route for hundreds of miles to the ocean. They were guided by following the Milky Way, so their path was called The Path of Stars. Over 1,000 years later, that same path became known as the Camino de Santiago, leading people to the newly-discovered relics of one of Jesus’s apostles. Still sometimes called The Path of Stars, the Camino is now one of the most well-known pilgrimage routes in the world, AND IS OPEN TO EVERYONE. So, what makes a journey a pilgrimage?
Virginia recently returned from her second Camino walk, and explores its mysticism, beauty, challenges, and gifts that continue to unfold.
