About This Week’s Speaker
For the past 30 years, Joan Sotkin has been examining alternative ways of dealing with life on many different levels. Joan does not define success as merely making a lot of money or having social or career status. She has searched for something deeper and more meaningful and learned to integrate what she discovered into her business and personal life. Her website,www.ProsperityPlace.com, is her contribution to those of you who want to experience the “more” of life while creating satisfying and prosperous lives and businesses.

Celebration Potluck March 29th to Mark our 24th Anniversary!
David Raymer has offered to host a potluck at his home, 510 Fulton Lane, on Sunday, March 29th following the service. We mark the anniversary of The Celebration on the Sunday before Easter, which this year is March 29. Please plan on joining us for a good food and good company for a good reason! Bring a dish to share. Please park in the Frenchy’s Park parking lot and walk the one short block to David’s house if you are able, as parking is very scarce near the house.
Community Activities
–Mary and Ken are sponsoring a “Musical Celebration for Russ” (Russell Call) this Saturday, March 7, at 4:30 pm. It will be at Ken’s home, 2539 Camino Cabestro (see directions below). It is a pot luck and people are bringing instruments and “creative music makers.” You are invited to this delightful event and I hope you will join us, whether you plan to play an instrument or not.
Directions: From Yucca, between Zia And Rodeo, turn east toward the mountains onto Jemez. Go a few feet to the stop sign and turn left. The road turns right and becomes Camino Cabestro, and a few houses down on the left is 2539, the one with the black mailbox and the yellow newspaper tube. OR, on Rodeo near St. Francis, head west to Camino Cabestro. Take that right and go to 2539 on the right with the black mail box and yellow newspaper tube.
If you have questions, call Mary 862-1418, Ken 819-7359, or George 699-1923. (You might bring extra folding chairs if you have them, just in case.)
–This from Charles Tichenor:
–“Dear Friends and Fans: After a long hiatus, I am back in the cabaret world! I installed a stunning, seven foot Mason & Hamlin grand piano in the backroom of the new El Agave Mexican Restaurant right in the middle of Burro Alley and next to the Lensic Theater. I’ll be playing the piano, singing, and entertaining the crowd on Fridays and Saturdays from 6pm to 9pm. Come see me and meet owner Hector Venegas, he’s a charmer. By the way, the authentic Mexican food is outrageously delicious. Come enjoy the newest addition to the Santa Fe music scene. Come to the cabaret!”
