Gail Larsen – 8-Oh! Reflections on the Journey from Role to Soul, Age to Elder

80 may just be a number, but it’s the first birthday number that Gail has found sobering. Sometime during COVID, the average US lifespan decreased to 76.4 years (it’s now 77.5) and she faced the shocking realization she was living on overtime!  Still engaged in her work and life purpose, Life was presenting new questions and asking for the releasing of old identities to claim the role of Elder.  May our time together support us to claim and embody our wisdom, speak our truth, and show up in joy for what our souls and our world are asking.  All with the sense of humor aging requires!
  Gail Larsen is celebrating her 80th birthday this month, which is asking for a new story of elderhood and contribution. Her fascination with stories and desire for a world that works for all of life resulted in her book “Transformational Speaking: If You Want to Change the World, Tell a Better Story” (Random House & Brilliance Audio), described by Fast Company as “transforming your relationship to your voice via the deepest stirrings of your soul.”  She has had the privilege of working with change artists and Holy Fools from around the world in mining their life experiences to bring messages of inspiration and healing to their audiences.
